Giants returned to Malvern Autumn Show this year with the CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship. Growers UK-wide traveled with their biggest and best entries in an attempt to take home titles for the biggest and longest vegetables.

Some incredible produce graced the tables after anxious weigh-ins to find out just where they placed. History was made as four World Records were broken with the Guinness Book of World Records team in attendance to document the events.

At 3.12KG, Heaviest Aubergine was set by CANNA grower Peter Glazebrook and BIOCANNA grower Joe Atherton took Heaviest Broad Bean at 106g and Longest Leek at 1.36m. Both growers have shared their year's journey to this final show on the CANNA Growers Video Diaries.

The CANNA garden had a lot to live up to with previous years designs, this year did not disappoint! The team spent a good week building the garden ahead of the show and it looked stunning come open doors. With fishing pumpkins around a pond and some naughty pumpkins sneaking CALMAG into the system, it brought attention to the Size Does Matter aspect in addition to focusing GrowHow on how water quality can affect your results.
